Health & Exercise

All of our classes follow all current COVID-19 guidelines provided by the State of NC and the CDC. We are offering classes as we can based on current orders from the Governor and Secretary of State.

In Person Classes

Future Generation Self Defense -  $12  (multi child discount)

  • Korean Style Self Defense for ages 5 and up every Thursday. No need to pre-register. Registration is 15 minutes before class. 6pm Beginner Class, 6:45pm Yellow and Green Belts, 7:30pm Blue Belts and above

Zumba - $7 or discount with multi-class purchase

  • Zumba with Jerri will be held every Monday and Thursday 7pm - 8pm inside the gym at the Recreation Center. Bring your own water.

Yoga  -  $5 Bring your own mat. 

  • Outdoor Saturdays  9am - 10am. Class will be held beside the Recreation Center near the large playground. 
  • Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 10:00am - 11:00am in the Recreation Center Gym. Please let the instructor know you are coming by texting or calling Lori at 336-239-0523
  • Tuesday 7:00pm - 8:00pm in the Recreation Center. 
  • ON HOLD UNTIL 2022! Monthly Restorative Yoga at the Senior Center at 6:30pm. Last Monday of the month. BYO Pillow and Yoga Mat. Please let the instructor know you are coming by texting or calling Lori at 336-239-0523 

Line Dancing at the Senior Center $3

  • Tuesday nights 6:30pm - 8:00pm  All ages welcome.

Open Gym Basketball - Free

  • Monday - Friday 12pm - 1pm

Seniorcise - Free 

  • Tuesdays and Thursdays 9:00am - 9:30am chairs, weights, and resistance bands provided. Feel free to bring your own if you prefer or just use your body weight.

Walking in the Gym - Free

  • Monday - Friday people are welcome to walk in the gym wearing masks from 8am - 9am. 

Pickleball in the Gym - Free

  •  Pickleball is held in the gym on Monday's 6:00pm - 8:00pm

Online Classes You Can Do at Home
