In-Person Payments

Our office is located at 307 Balfour Drive. Please bring your entire bill with you. At the Customer Service counter, we accept:

• American Express
• Discover
• MasterCard
• Visa

The name on the credit card must match the customer’s picture identification.

Drop Box Payments

The Drop Box is located at 307 Balfour Drive. Payments placed in the drop box after 3 pm will be posted the next business day. Please include your account number or payment stub. Do not enclose cash.

Online Payments

For your convenience you may pay with a credit or debit card from a computer at home or at the City Hall kiosk free of charge online.  We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. You will need to enter your customer account number and PIN (located on your billing statement). Please note the system allows one pending payment per account. Transaction fees will not be charged at this website. Please follow these detailed instructions regarding online payments (DOCX).

Online Payment Instructions

You do not need to enter your name, address, email, or any information other than your account Number and PIN when you are on the city’s official payment site.

Your payment is complete once you have received a confirmation number.

There are other websites unaffiliated with the City of Archdale that will process your payment. The payments you make with these other entities take several days to reach the City of Archdale. This delay could result in late fees and/or interruption of services. These websites may also charge a fee.

Phone Payments

The City of Archdale utilizes a third-party company for credit card payments made over an automated phone system. This third party will charge you a 2.95% transaction fee. If you would like to make your payment via phone please call 844-611-4173. If you have questions or concerns about your bill, you may reach Customer Service at 336-434-7341. We do not take payments by phone at this number.

Bank Draft Payments

Please fill out the form on the back of the bottom portion of your billing statement or come into City Hall to sign up for bank draft. We have two draft dates to choose from: the 3rd, or the 18th. Your utility statement will reflect when your draft goes into effect.

Note: The City of Archdale uses Fidelity National Information Services, Inc. (FIS) to process all credit card payments. The City of Archdale does not store any credit card information.
